Description
About Calcium D-Glucarate Ca D-Glucarate is the calcium salt of D-glucaric acid, a substance naturally present in the body and in certain fruits and vegetables such as grapefruit, orange or broccoli. It is involved in the body's main detoxification pathways, in particular by modulating beta-glucuronidase activity and supporting glucuronidation, an important hepatic phase II reaction. This reaction allows the binding and excretion of fat-soluble toxins, excess steroid hormones, medicines and other foreign compounds. Free of toxicity, it can be used at high doses to strengthen detoxification. Unique properties √ Supports glucuronidation, a hepatic phase II reaction, via modulation of beta-glucuronidase produced by the microflora √ Helps eliminate toxins such as mercury, nicotine, paracetamol and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs √ Indicated in detoxification programmes and in case of hepatitis √ Supports hormonal balance by promoting the breakdown and excretion of oestrogens, particularly useful in pre-menopause or menopause √ Contributes to the development and maintenance of bones and teeth thanks to the presence of elemental calcium Authorised claims √ Calcium contributes to normal energy metabolism √ Calcium is needed for the maintenance of normal bones and teeth √ Calcium plays a role in the process of cell division and specialisation
