Description
A powerful anti-inflammatory action Blackcurrant is considered an adaptogen; it increases the body's overall capacity to react and adapt to stress. It is also an adrenal tonic and a regulator of the pituitary-cortico-adrenal axis. These properties make it a bud of choice for combating fatigue, exhaustion, fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome. Blackcurrant stimulates cortisol production ("Cortisone-like" action). It has anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, anti-allergic and antihistamine properties. It therefore helps combat seasonal allergies, eczema, psoriasis , acne, inflammation of the mucous membranes or joints.
