Description
Description It is now known that a Mediterranean diet and lighter evening meals, along with a reduction in the consumption of fast sugars, refined flours and trans fats, greatly support a good lipid balance and profile. A pioneering formula has been developed to help maintain an adequate lipid profile, notably thanks to its Guggul resin extract. The formula also contains oyster mushroom powder, chromium, vitamin B3 in the form of inositol hexanicotinate) and trans-resveratrol. Guggul resin, or commiphora mukul, is an original molecule that targets the FXR transcription factor : More specifically, guggulsterone (cis or trans4,17(20)-pregnadiene-3,16-dione), a compound purified from a resin similar to myrrh, obtained from a shrub that grows in the arid regions of India. Guggulsterone gets its unusual name from the plant it is extracted from, guggulu in Sanskrit. This resin, known for more than 600 years before Christ, was used as a « purifier » in traditional Indian medicine. Articles published in the late 1980s in Indian scientific journals brought its properties back into fashion, and reported its effects on cholesterol levels. This formula, taken before each meal, is therefore ideal for normalising the HDL/LDL ratio while favouring appropriate meal timing, an unprocessed and organic diet and regular physical activity, as well as an anti-inflammatory diet rich in antioxidants.
