Description
Ferrodyn Forte √ Supports red blood cell formation, energy production and helps in case of fatigue √ High dose of iron per capsule √ Well-absorbed form of iron: iron bisglycinate √ Divalent iron (Fe2+): optimal absorption √ Cofactors with a synergistic action with iron: vitamin B6 and folate (Metafolin®) √ High gastrointestinal tolerance What is the origin of the type of iron in FerroDyn? The iron used in the FerroDyn capsule is iron bisglycinate . It is a chelate, formed between one iron molecule and 2 glycine molecules (glycine = amino acid), with high bioavailability. The chelate has a neutral charge, so there is no interaction with other nutrients. Iron bisglycinate is, in other words, the best-absorbed form of iron on the market. Iron bisglycinate is well tolerated and therefore causes little or no complaints of constipation, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and/or diarrhoea. The chewable tablet contains a form of iron fumarate. Fumarate is an organic salt. Iron fumarate is also well tolerated and does not cause black discolouration of the teeth.
