About Flavochino Flavochino is a soluble cocoa powder very rich in flavonols, 15 times more concentrated than classic cocoas, thanks to a gentle manufacturing process that preserves these precious compounds. √ Cocoa flavonols contribute to preserving the elasticity of blood vessels and to supporting healthy blood circulation (EFSA claim). √ Rich in magnesium and potassium, it also supports the proper functioning of the nervous system. √ Contains choline which supports liver function, contributes to fat metabolism and helps maintain normal homocysteine levels. Low in fat (6,6 %), rich in fibre and protein, sweetened with xylitol (birch sugar), gluten-free, lactose-free and vegan. Ideal as a hot drink or healthy, nutritious shake. UNIQUE - 15x richer in flavonols + healthy blood circulation It is important to know that the flavonol content of most cocoas is often very low, due to the manufacturing process (alkalising treatment which reduces the flavonol concentration by 2/3 in order to make the cocoa easier to blend). This deficiency in flavonols is hidden behind a high cocoa percentage (70%). But this high value does not necessarily mean that the flavonol content is high! The alkalising treatment denatures the flavonols and destroys them, which causes all the benefits of the chocolate powder to be lost. It can be considered that cocoas currently contain only 15mg of flavonols per 15g, whereas in our Flavochino by Dr. Jacob's® we have 225mg per 15g, i.e. 15x more than traditional cocoas! The manufacturing process used for our Flavochino is a very gentle process, which preserves the flavonol content of the cocoa. These preserve the elasticity of your blood vessels and support healthy blood circulation.
