About Fructo-Oligosaccharides Fructo-Oligosaccharides is a dietary fibre supplement made from sugar beet using a GMO-free bioconversion process, developed by the French group Tereos. √ Has a prebiotic effect recognised in France since 1996. √ Promotes the normalisation of digestive and intestinal functions (stools, colonic fermentation, nutrient absorption). √ May contribute to reducing cholesterolaemia and regulating post-prandial blood sugar. Fructo-oligosaccharides (or FOS) are carbohydrate polymers of plant origin belonging to the soluble fibre family. Not absorbed in the intestine, their fermentation produces short-chain fatty acids, beneficial for the health of the digestive mucosa, in particular butyrate. They also serve as food for beneficial bacteria such as bifidobacteria. Product guaranteed free from flavourings, added sugars, sweeteners and controversial excipients.
