Description
WHAT IS KRILL OIL? Krill Oil is extracted from Antarctic krill, one of the most abundant biomasses on Earth, and whose sourcing is carefully controlled. It is a small crustacean that contains many nutrients, in particular a significant ratio of omega-3s in phospholipid form, which make this oil digestible and bioavailable. Its omega-3 EPA/DHA are thus better absorbed, without burping or nausea, unlike fish oils. Moreover, studies show that it is particularly effective at increasing the omega-3 index, an important health biomarker. Its natural astaxanthin content, a carotenoid-type marine antioxidant, gives it its distinctive red colour and helps protect its essential fatty acids from oxidation. Krill Oil is also rich in choline, which contributes to its health properties. KEY STRENGTHS √ Eco-responsible and sustainable fishing in Antarctica √ Friend of the Sea certified √ Innovative cold extraction √ 100% pure krill oil √ High content of Omega-3 biomolecules (EPA/DHA), choline and astaxanthin √ Licaps ® capsules: high oil stability √ No fishy aftertaste √ Free from heavy metals SUPERBA BOOST ® : a scientifically necessary evolution Considered a new-generation oil, Superba Boost® grade is a concentrated extract that improves the composition and benefits of krill oil. This grade allows the Dynveo brand to offer krill oil containing the highest content of omega-3 in phospholipid and choline form. Taking two capsules per day provides 319mg of omega-3, including 177mg of DHA and 83mg of EPA; 83mg of choline, and a minimum of 100ug of free astaxanthin. Eco-responsible and sustainable fishing in Antarctica This krill oil originates from Antarctic Krill (Euphasia superba): a small crustacean that is part of one of the most abundant species on our planet, naturally rich in numerous nutrients such as omega-3s. Krill fishing is one of the most regulated and sustainable in the world. √ The marine conservation body “Friend of the Sea” certifies that this pure Supera Boost TM krill oil comes from sustainable, eco-responsible fishing that preserves this precious ecosystem. √ The harvesting method is gentle in order to limit its environmental impact. A concentrate of bioactive molecules This oil is rich in omega-3s, particularly EPA and DHA. The phospholipid form has the advantage of being soluble in both water and fats, which greatly increases their bioavailability and allows them to cross the blood-brain barrier. The body assimilates them much more easily. Krill oil also contains choline, a molecule formerly classified among the B vitamins. It is essential for the synthesis of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter involved in memory, learning and muscle function. Finally, this krill oil is rich in astaxanthin, a molecule belonging to the carotenoid family, a pigment that gives it its characteristic red colour. Astaxanthin is a powerful natural antioxidant. It acts as a natural preservative and helps protect Krill Oil from oxidation by increasing the stability of the fatty acids it contains.
