Description
About N-Acetyl Cysteine Premium N-acetylcysteine, known as NAC, is a derivative of cysteine, a non-essential amino acid. Cysteine has, among many other functions, that of stimulating the synthesis of glutathione, a recognised antioxidant. Supplementation with N-acetylcysteine has been shown to be more effective at producing glutathione in significant quantity, and above all usable by the body. It leads to the production of cysteine and then of glutathione that is directly usable, including by brain cells. This high availability makes it a preferred precursor for effective antioxidant activity.
