Description
About Phytostandard® - Eschscholtzia / Valerian The need for sleep and its quality vary considerably from one person to another. Many factors such as diet or lifestyle affect rest. Certain plants can then naturally promote quality sleep. Eschscholtzia does indeed help promote quality sleep and optimal relaxation. We have therefore selected the parts of the plant richest in compounds to create this supplement, Phytostandard® eschscholtzia and valerian duo : the flowering aerial parts of eschscholtzia ( Eschscholtzia californica Cham. ) and valerian roots ( Valeriana officinalis L. ). How are the extracts selected? √ Commonly known as California poppy , eschscholtzia is a hardy annual plant that can be harvested twice a year. √ Grown in the United States and Europe, it is harvested in Ardèche in July and then frozen on site before extraction to preserve its active compounds. √ Valerian, also known as "cat's valerian", is harvested in September and October. √ Native to Europe and Asia, it grows in clay-silica soils. √ The roots are harvested mechanically and then frozen to preserve all their properties.
