Vitamin D3 contributes to maintaining the normal functioning of the immune system. √ The first bacteria that reach a baby’s gut determine the gut flora for the rest of their life. √ These crucial first bacteria are usually transmitted at birth via the birth canal and then through breastfeeding. √ Bottle feeding, a caesarean birth, or a disrupted maternal gut flora can therefore have a serious impact on the development of the baby’s gut flora. √ Protectis® has been the subject of 71 in-depth scientific studies involving 8300 babies and young children aged 0 to 3.
