Precautions & contraindications

• Do not use in case of pregnancy, breastfeeding, anticoagulant or antiplatelet treatment or treatment based on cyclosporine, hypersensitivity or allergy to plants of the Lamiaceae family.
• Consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist or worsen.
• Also consult before use in case of: ongoing pharmaceutical treatment; kidney disorders; treatment based on liquorice root or other products that may worsen an electrolyte imbalance; faecal impaction or symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever; blood pressure problems; use of diuretics (thiazide) or corticosteroids; cardiac treatment (e.g. cardiac glycosides or antiarrhythmic medicines); diabetes; use of protease inhibitors; seizure disorders (such as epilepsy).
• Discontinue use in case of digestive disturbances.
• Reduce the dosage or discontinue use in case of abdominal pain, cramps, spasms and.or diarrhoea.
