Description
WHAT IS BREWER'S YEAST? Organic active (revivifiable) brewer's yeast is composed of the micro-organism Saccharomyces cerevisiae . It has been used since ancient times for the fermentation of bread, wine and beer, and is now highly sought after in nutricosmetics for its action on the beauty of nails and hair. Its effectiveness is due to its natural content of vitamin B1, B2, B5, B6, biotin and B9 as well as its richness in amino acids (34%) and fibre (31%). In addition, active brewer's yeast has a probiotic action, unlike “classic” or inactive brewer's yeast. Indeed, its manufacturing and drying process never exceeds 40°C, allowing it to be reactivated in the digestive tract. Clinical trials are also studying its action on several digestive disorders. KEY STRENGTHS √ 10 BILLION SACCHAROMYCES CEREVISIAE PER 1G √ 100% organic raw material √ Active form: revivifiable √ Rich in amino acids (34%), fibre (31%) and vitamins A revivifiable form: active In supplements, brewer's yeast exists in three forms: a revivifiable (active) form, an inactive form and an inactive yeast extract. Inactive brewer's yeast extract is obtained by concentrating the water-soluble components, notably glutamic acid, B vitamins, nucleotides and peptides. Conversely, active brewer's yeast and the “simple” inactive form contain all the nutrients, minerals and vitamins, both water- and fat-soluble, naturally present in the yeast. The difference between these two forms lies in the fact that active brewer's yeast has the advantage of being able to activate in the intestine, helping to support the balance of the gut flora. In addition, ACTIVE organic brewer's yeast in capsules has a dual action on the skin, hair and nails. The first is linked to the direct intake of nutrients, amino acids and vitamins contained in the brewer's yeast powder. The second, indirect, is due to the proper functioning of the microbiome, helping to optimise the synthesis of vitamins and the ingestion of precursors necessary for the formation of hair and nails.
