Composition GUM PerioBalance is a supplement containing a patented bacterium of human origin called Limosilactobacillus reuteri Prodentis® (DSM 17938 and ATCC PTA5289) previously named Lactobacillus reuteri Prodentis®. This strain is one of the rare species of lactic acid bacteria adapted to reside solely in the human oral cavity and digestive tract. It has the unique ability to bind to saliva and the oral mucosa. Clinical studies have shown that L. reuteri Prodentis can be used safely in adults and children under normal conditions of use. Higher doses of L. reuteri Prodentis are absolutely safe.
