WHAT IS THE PROBIOTIC COMPLEX? The result of two years of development, Probio4 is a complex combining 4 patented probiotic strains. It is made up of the most studied probiotic strain in the world: Lactobacillus rhamnosus LGG®, the most documented bifidobacterium : Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis BB-12® and two other inactivated probiotic strains: Lactobacillus acidophilus LA-5®and Lactobacillus reuteri LRC®. Allies of the microbiome (formerly referred to as gut flora), probiotics are, according to the WHO definition: live microorganisms which, when administered in adequate amounts, are beneficial for health. In addition to its predominant role in digestion, the microbiome interacts with numerous physiological processes such as immunity, metabolism, the skin, the cardiovascular system or the brain.
